Everyone is invited to our 2019 potluck picnic. Bring a dish and/or a beverage to share. We recommend blankets or portable chairs. ArtSpan’s SFOS Mentor team will be available to answer any questions you may have about how to sign up, how to prepare or what to expect from your open studios experience. We are hoping to introduce ArtSpan’s experienced SFOS alumni artists to folks brand new to the event and spend a day enjoying camaraderie with SF creatives!.

An introduction will be offered to the online SFOS Toolkit and how to utilize the Artist Resources Facebook Page. Any and all questions relating to SF Open Studios can be asked of our friendly and accessible mentors who really want to help everyone get the most from their experience with the event. Answers will be generously given to build your confidence and sense of artist community!

-Gathering Together Collateral Materials; what you’ll need and where to get them.
-Creating your Artist Statement; both written & verbal to discuss your work and yourself.
