Throughout the years, I've produced a large and diverse portfolio of artwork. My work has been primarily representational and includes oil paintings, drawings, and printmaking. My primary interest is in depicting the human figure which are straightforward and representational, often depicting a single figure. Drawing from live models allows me to depict the beauty, strength, and sensuality of the human form. In 2014, a visit to MoMA in New York for the Henri Matisse “The Cut Outs” exhibition made such an impact on me that I embarked on creating my own Figurative and Abstract handprinted paper cutout collage artwork which has taken a new perspective on how I approach these two subject matters.
