I work with the human figure or photograph a Barbie doll as it represents the human figure. I create "digital originals" drawn directly onto an iPad Pro which I often combine with multiple elements (my photography and paintings) to create collages. When I finish a piece I either output the work onto fabric, paper, metal, or another substrate. I also show my work in its original digital format on a monitor. Sometimes I make life-size or larger scale hangings of printed fabric. My style is graphic, sensual, and fluid. It conveys my feminist agenda. The figures feel intimate, natural, and personal. These are powerful people. My drawings of women (mostly) come across as strong, decisive, confident, and unique individuals – this is my underlying narrative.
